7 Responses to Chilling Video Shows Second Graders Parroting Lines About White Privilege

  1. Don Vandervelde says:

Dr. Williams, greetings from and old fan. Someone should remind this group that American blacks’ ancestors were enslaved by other blacks, and freed by whites at a great cost in blood and treasure. No thanks are necessary, it’s all in a day’s work.
If these “privilege” myths were, even partly, true then capitalists, black and white, would rightly, hire only blacks to get lower labor costs to be more competitive in the market and make more money. Gawd blessya! Don V.

    • Samuel Smith says:

Black people were not enslaved by black people, you dolt. They were enslaved by white people, and not continuing to enslave them is NOT SOMETHING TO BE REWARDED FOR. Do you get rewarded for not murdering someone? No. You get punished if you /do/ murder someone. White people like us have a higher chance of getting a job, will get paid better for said job and have other privileges also, such as more lenience against us in court, etc.
Get your head out of your damn arse and wake the fuck up.

      • Trevor Clark says:

Actually, blacks were enslaved for far longer by other blacks, and still are in Africa. If you’re talking about just in the States or in European countries, no, there probably weren’t any black slave owners. But I believe Don was referencing the fact that most black slaves were bought from other African slave owners.

Name calling and profanity. The last resort of the liberal when he has nothin intelligent to say.

      • John Smith says:

Actually, black people were enslaved by black people. Black American slave owners existed from as early as 1654 and in every state where slavery was legal (and that’s ignoring the fact that most slaves were captured by and purchased from other Africans). Your version of history is, to put it bluntly, factually incorrect.
